My early years of college were full of laughter, play, and happy festivities, but after some time I began to realize that something in me was quietly aching for more. This ache led me to walk into my first Chi Alpha core group meeting during the fall of my junior year, and, in the most gentle, yet illuminating way, my world changed. Now, as graduation draws near, I have little fear for what lays ahead or sadness for what will be lost, because through Chi Alpha I have found not only a community of my closest friends, but also an everlasting family in the body of Christ. Chi Alpha has taught me what it means to run towards the Lord not alone, but with an entire team at your side; I know now, without a doubt, that my family in Chi Alpha was truly a gift from God.

Chi Alpha is a place where I can be vulnerable with a group of friends who care for me and my spiritual life and whom I care for just as much. I never had any sort of youth group growing up, so my experience in Chi Alpha has been so beneficial for me. I have grown in my faith because I know I have people in my life who want the best for me and who will hold me accountable so that I can be the version of myself possible.
