We’re so excited you are coming on Fall Retreat! This is one of our favorite weekends of the year. Sometimes breaking out of the routine can provide us with the needed space to think clearly, reconnect with God, and have some fun. It’s going to be a time for us to grow together in community, hear great teaching, engage in worship, and relax in nature!

Cost includes all meals, snacks, transportation, lodging, and anything else we will do this weekend! If the cost of the weekend is a barrier, let us help. Talk to a Core Group leader or contact jennavanlenten@gmail.com.

What time we will leave for Fall Retreat and how will we get there?

We will depart at 5:45pm from Phelps gate and head over to Camp Wightman, and will return by 1pm on Sunday.

I’m new to Chi Alpha and not sure if I will know anyone, should I still go?

Since we are only a few weeks into the school year, you’ll be in good company! This retreat will be a great way to get to know people and begin to build deep friendship.

While I plan on not stressing about schoolwork over the weekend, I just want to make sure there is WiFi?

There is WiFi! While we encourage you to unplug as much as you can, there will be time in the schedule to work on assignments or papers that might be due after retreat.

What should I bring?

Be on the lookout for an email with all the final details! You can plan on bring the usuals for a weekend away: clothes, games, journals, writing utensils, toiletries. You will need to bring a pillow + blanket!

Where will I sleep?

There will be two cabins for sleeping - a girls’ cabin and a guys’ cabin. Each cabin has multiple rooms, plenty of mattresses, and showers.
