Developing a Rule of Life

Our lives are full of habits that form us, for better or for worse. A rule of life is a schedule and set of practices and relational rhythms that help us create space in our busy world for us to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did—to live “to the full” (John 10:10) in his kingdom, and in alignment with our deepest passions and priorities.

This resource is designed as a 6-part guide to develop a rule of life, listed numerically below, including reflection questions and practices. You will find the process more fruitful with a companion or a group. This process is not one to rush through or perfect in a short period of time—rather, developing a rule of life takes intentionality, time, and even adjustment as we mature into Christlikeness.
